Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve

Wild Winds has more than 400 acres of rolling Indiana prairie, natural waterways, lakes, birds and is home to approximately 250 bison. Tours are available via open-air vehicle. The log-hewn bed and breakfast offers unique lodging with warm buffalo blankets. Stop in the gift shop for buffalo meat and hand-crafted items. Each spring and fall, Wild Winds hosts a free popular rendezvous, an 1840’s encampment. Tours into the herd are available Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The last tour leaves at 3 p.m. Through April, Wild Winds is open Saturday and Sunday only.
