Guided Horseback Rides

Take a 45-minute guided horseback ride along some Pokagon State Park’s trails. Riders must be at least 8 years old and 52 inches tall. There’s a weight limit of 250 pounds. Stables hours are weekends 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 1 through Memorial Day; daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Memorial Day through Labor Day and weekends 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Labor Day through late fall. Trail rides are $30 per person (price is subject to change.) Short pony rides are available next to the saddle barn for $5.

Reservations are taken for the same day only and it’s best to come to the barn to reserve. If you call in you must come to the barn to pay no later than one hour prior to your ride reservations. Walk ins are accepted but please arrive 20 minutes early. If trail is already filled you may have to wait until the next one.

The barn may close due to rain or very high or low temps. Please call first if these conditions are present. We accept all major credit cards or cash. We have no dress requirements, however, you will be most comfortable in long pants and closed toe shoes.
