Ridenour Acres
Ridenour Acres is an 11 acre corn maze located in Angola, Indiana! The sole purpose of Ridenour Acres is to provide family fun on the farm. Enjoy walking the maze, live music on the stage, a hayride through the woods, or a cozy bonfire. The list goes on and on! From our family to yours, we hope to see you on the farm!
Stroh Orchard
More than 30 varieties of apples are available at the orchard, including Jersey Macs, Pristine, Ginger Gold, and Zestar. Stop by the store to purchase these, along with apple cider, apple butter, and peaches in season. A U-pick pumpkin patch opens in September and has been a family tradition for many years.
The Haunted Trail
The Haunted Trail at Double H Farms in Hamilton is open Oct. 8, 9, 15, 16, 29 and 30 from 8 p.m. to midnight. The cost is $10 (cash only) and is geared toward adults. You never know what might be lurking behind the next tree at Double H Farm’s Haunted Trail!
Fallfest
Downtown Angola Coalition hosts Fallfest on Oct. 30, which includes a craft show and kids’ activities, followed by trick or treating.
Farmers Market
Steuben County Farmers Market is open Wednesday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon, through Oct. 30. You’ll find apples, pumpkins, a variety of vegetables, honey, and mums.
Pokagon State Park
Pokagon State Park has nature programs on the weekends, plus nine hiking trails to enjoy this fall.
