Public Access Boat Launches | Steuben County, Indiana
Rising temperatures and the promise of a beautiful summer in Indiana attracts visitors to the “Home of 101 Lakes.” With all the natural water resources of Steuben County, it is no surprise that it is a top priority to maintain and preserve Steuben County’s water resources and provide public access to them.
Lake lovers enjoy boating, swimming, fishing and relaxing by the water with the public access sites available throughout Steuben County. Since the early 1950s, Indiana has worked to provide Hoosiers public access to lakes. These public access points provide residents and visitors the ability fish, swim and boat at their leisure.
With a host of access points, boat rentals and fishing licenses available at Pokagon State Park, we make it easy to get you going on lake season with your friends and family. Anyone who enjoys lake time is welcome and encouraged to take advantage of these areas.
