Bright orange pumpkins, gourds and squash fill the tables. Plump tomatoes and colorful apples are ready for you to take home to be used in those special recipes. Pick up a variety of sizes of locally-sourced honey and maple syrup. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll find muffins, sourdough bread, maple syrup, bagels, cinnamon rolls and cookies as well as freeze-dried candy. Take home a beautiful mum or two to bring a splash of color to your yard.
Saturday in May through October, the farmers market operates from 8 a.m. to noon at the Steuben County Community Center, 317 S. Wayne St., Angola.
A second market opens Wednesdays July-October at Carnegie Public Library, 322 S. Wayne St., Angola from 8 a.m. to noon.
