Steuben County Farmers’ Market: It’s About Community
With the change of seasons comes a chance to enjoy all that autumn brings to the Steuben County Farmers Market.
Bright orange pumpkins, gourds and squash fill the tables. Plump tomatoes and colorful apples are ready for you to take home to be used in those special recipes. Pick up a variety of sizes of locally-sourced honey and maple syrup. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll find muffins, sourdough bread, maple syrup, bagels, cinnamon rolls and cookies as well as freeze-dried candy. Take home a beautiful mum or two to bring a splash of color to your yard.
Each Saturday through Oct. 26, the farmers market operates from 8 a.m. to noon at the Steuben County Community Center, 317 S. Wayne St., Angola.
You’ll find a second market on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to noon at 1020 E. U.S. Highway 20, across from Angola High School.
The last day of operation for the Wednesday market is Oct. 30.
