Lakeside Leads the Charge in Food Safety
Lakeside Meat & Seafood… your local Steuben County Butchery & Market has been leading the efforts in keeping our community safe, while protecting those most at risk.
Stepping Up Food Safety Measures
Lakeside Meat and Seafood has gone the extra mile by adding new procedures and programs that allow patrons to receive high quality foods and reduce risk. This is especially important for customers that are part of more vulnerable age groups and demographics. Some of these programs include:
- call ahead curbside pickup
- delivery for our seniors and those who may have compromised immune systems
- a new texting program that offers updates on hours and inventory allowing customers to text in orders and ask questions. To join text (260) 909-8845
Lakeside also now offers produce boxes that contain a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, for both families and individuals. Meat packages are also customized and available for delivery.
Maintaining Supply to Keep Customers Happy
Lakeside has not experienced a shortage of products and is still offering their own locally raised beef and pork. Unlike factory farms that often supply big box stores, Lakeside’s animals are free to roam in pastures and are fed non-gmo grain that Lakeside grows themselves. Maintaining a clean environment for their animals is paramount and reflected in the quality of the product they sell.
Prioritizing Community and Giving Back
Lakeside has not lost sight of what matters most in times of turmoil and that is community. Earlier this month Lakeside donated free, hot breakfast through local area churches and fed over 50 families in need who have been affected by this crisis.
“We understand the backbone of our community lies within its’ citizens and we will do everything we can to support them”.
